This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Identify potential sales opportunities with both existing clients and new prospects through customer site visits, following up on company-provided leads, and utilizing other suitable prospecting methods.
β’ Achieve sales goals related to territory bookings and invoiced sales.
β’ Develop and manage an effective travel itinerary to maximize customer interactions during trips while minimizing overnight stays.
β’ Provide all essential information and documentation necessary for the completion of sales proposals and orders.
β’ Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotes tailored to customer specifications.
β’ Assume responsibility for managing customer expectations throughout the order process, including coordination with internal departments.
β’ Utilize resources such as CRM systems, marketing tools, demonstration facilities, and support staff to enhance the sales process.
β’ Engage in the creation and implementation of a business plan and budget for the designated territory.
β’ A bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ Experience in consultative capital equipment sales is required.
β’ Engineering or technical background is advantageous.
β’ Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of five years of experience selling large packaging or processing equipment to meat, produce, or other food-related facilities.
β’ Candidates with experience in selling large equipment to other manufacturing-oriented sectors will also be considered.
