• Propel regional sales performance by overseeing Manufacturer’s Representative organizations and fostering balanced growth within both new and existing accounts.
• Define clear performance expectations, territory strategies, and sales goals for representative partners.
• Conduct business reviews, pipeline discussions, and forecasting meetings to sustain visibility and momentum across opportunities.
• Lead and influence third-party representatives to enhance deal quality, conversion rates, and account penetration.
• Facilitate pipeline development through organized prospecting, account planning, and prioritizing opportunities.
• Ensure precise opportunity qualification, accurate forecasting, and CRM discipline throughout the regional sales network.
• Oversee deal approvals, contract negotiations, and complex sales efforts to ensure successful outcomes.
• Provide market insights and customer feedback to internal teams to align value propositions with customer priorities.
• Accountable for ensuring compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Candidates must possess valid work authorization permitting them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, business administration, or a related technical field; equivalent experience will be taken into account.
• At least 3 years of sales experience, including engagement with sales or manufacturer’s representatives.
• Proven technical selling skills and account management experience.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage leaders from the rep organization and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated abilities in negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management.
