This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.
• Building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients across all functional levels.
• Crafting sales strategies, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering value-driven solutions through application assessments with End User Customers.
• Effectively employing all available sales and marketing resources for presentations, sales calls, cold outreach, and prospecting.
• Developing a strategic territory schedule to facilitate regular client meetings and effective prospecting.
• Acting as a conduit between customers and engineering to create innovative project solutions with compelling value propositions.
• Ensuring accurate and timely gathering of all project information necessary for applications engineering assessment and project quoting.
• Collaborating with project management to ensure smooth order transitions between sales and operations.
• Upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all interactions.
• Regularly meeting or surpassing sales forecasts and quotas.
• Recording all Opportunities, Companies, Contacts, and customer Interactions in our Sales Force Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in capital equipment and/or packaging sales.
• Direct sales experience with prominent domestic CPG companies.
• A four-year degree in Sales, Engineering, or Business is highly preferred.
• Mechanical understanding to grasp packaging automation and company products.
• Strong technical sales expertise and refined presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated individual with proven closing capabilities.
• Effective and driven ability to prospect.
• Must have exceptional business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and experience in industrial line layout is preferred.
• Skilled user of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to work remotely.
• Willingness to travel 60-70% within the territory, including overnight trips as needed.
