This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Responsible for overseeing sales in the designated region for the Company.
β’ Enhance the overall operational efficiency of the organization by developing an annual sales plan, setting objectives, and creating forecasts that align with the business unit's overall sales strategy.
β’ Build a network of independent representatives to drive sales growth.
β’ Increase product awareness among consultants and project representatives, emphasizing product capabilities, technical specifications, and new offerings to establish a basis of design.
β’ Foster relationships with new customers at the installing contractor level and promote products to specifying engineers for upcoming projects.
β’ Maintain a strong external focus by staying informed about market conditions, customer activities, competitor actions, and potential business opportunities.
β’ Design and implement tailored marketing strategies for key customers within the territory, including participation in trade shows and industry events.
β’ Establish a process to identify potential projects within the region and secure bids from independent representatives or end customers, setting up a review process with operations, sourcing, and engineering to address future requirements.
β’ Act as a resource for customers regarding technical and application inquiries, utilizing internal resources to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
β’ Attend to customer product requests and prepare information for quotes through Sales Application Engineers (SAEs).
β’ Calculate the manufacturing costs of products and project potential savings in product expenses.
β’ Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer on sales performance, review accomplishments, and discuss necessary adjustments to goals or objectives based on current conditions and locations.
β’ Support all departmental functions as needed, including resolving service issues and managing account receivables.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
β’ A minimum of five years of experience in sales with a proven track record of success in closing deals.
β’ Desired: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
β’ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
β’ Capable of speaking to large audiences.
β’ Excellent organizational skills.
β’ Proven ability to work independently while adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage a high volume of work, and participate in trade and home shows.
β’ Strong skills in building relationships.
β’ Travel required, 50% - 60%.
