This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +4 more states.
• Plan, direct, and implement regional sales strategies through a network of manufacturers’ representatives.
• Create sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics; track results and address any performance deficiencies.
• Oversee strategic and house accounts, foster customer relationships, and negotiate intricate sales agreements.
• Offer leadership, coaching, and technical support to manufacturers’ representatives.
• Act as a liaison among customers, representatives, and internal factory teams.
• Lead, nurture, and inspire the representative network.
• Execute regional sales strategies and initiatives that align with corporate and territorial goals.
• Set sales objectives and performance expectations; assess results and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Develop and manage sales policies, pricing strategies, discount structures, and commercial terms.
• Organize sales meetings, training sessions, and business reviews.
• Enhance customer relationships through executive presentations, trade shows, site visits, factory tours, and demonstrations.
• Compile monthly sales forecasts, pipeline updates, market intelligence, and business performance reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer support, operations, and product management teams.
• Travel approximately 25% to 40% for representative development, customer engagement, business development, presentations, and closing strategic opportunities.
• Engage in company meetings, factory training, sales conferences, and professional development activities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required (approximately 10+ years).
• At least 5 years of experience in a sales management role is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in developing and managing manufacturers’ representative networks.
• Proficient in creating sales forecasts, budgets, performance metrics, and reports.
• Skilled in negotiating complex sales agreements and managing strategic accounts.
• Technical knowledge of products, services, value propositions, marketing initiatives, and sales programs.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% to 40% of the time.
