This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
• Accountable for capturing market share by defining and penetrating markets, identifying opportunities and prospects, and cultivating relationships to meet or surpass sales growth and profit objectives.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new potential accounts in the OEM and Distribution channels while sustaining existing customer relationships.
• Compile opportunity lists with monthly updates.
• Analyze the competitor’s market share, highlighting strengths and weaknesses.
• Entrepreneurial and results-driven to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Actively engage with prospects and effectively communicate our value proposition to fulfill or exceed customer expectations and performance standards.
• Experience in working with and overseeing independent sales agents within a team setting.
• Participate in the annual planning and sales forecasting processes.
• Responsible for gathering marketing intelligence: reviewing and analyzing market trends, product performance, and other sales-related data.
• Set objectives and priorities to ensure alignment with the organization’s business plans.
• Serve existing and prospective customers through regular visits and communication.
• Conduct adhesive trials and problem-solving activities in the field.
• Assist in the preparation and staffing of trade show exhibits at designated international, national, and regional events.
• Engage in specified professional organizations and societies.
• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of professional sales experience.
• Preferred experience in selling reactive, silicone, or water-based adhesives through OEM and Commercial Distribution channels.
• Background in the industrial, MRO, transportation, automotive, telecommunications, residential, and commercial building construction sectors is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel by air and automobile up to 75% for business purposes within the Southwest region.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs.
