This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Engage with potential clients to foster and sustain relationships while remaining informed about market trends and dynamics.
• Participate in local and national industry trade shows and market events.
• Travel is necessary (40% - 60%), depending on company and territory requirements.
• Regularly and promptly update our CRM system to ensure accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting.
• Join bi-weekly funnel management reviews alongside the Sales Team and General Sales Manager.
• Discover new sales opportunities and ensure follow-through to successful completion.
• Collaborate with any independent representative network within the designated territory.
• Develop and sell comprehensive solutions to "C" level prospects.
• Create quotations based on initial application assessments and provide them to clients.
• Deliver detailed, solutions-oriented proposals that encompass multiple mechanical components to create a complete system.
• Generate and present information that highlights the "value proposition" of the products offered in relation to a client's specific requirements.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of sales or process/project management experience, demonstrating a proven ability to surpass annual targets.
• A successful history of selling capital equipment, particularly in the bakery and food processing industry, with a record of achieving or exceeding $2.5M in annual sales.
• Expertise in professional sales, particularly in qualifying, closing, meeting, and exceeding sales quotas.
• Knowledge of industrial food processing and packaging machinery, especially in relation to depositing equipment for bakery, prepared foods, and confectionery, is a significant advantage.
• Proficient in selling application-specific and solutions-based equipment.
• Adept at managing customer relationships across various levels, styles, and types of equipment.
