This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Establishing and overseeing quotas, commissions, and other sales management responsibilities for the sales team.
• Guiding, mentoring, and nurturing our junior sales personnel to facilitate their professional development in achieving targets.
• Identifying new leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and various channels, as well as handling and responding to inbound inquiries.
• Achieving ambitious sales targets by managing the sales pipeline through to closure, which includes screening, qualifying, conducting on-farm demonstrations, and successfully negotiating contracts with clients.
• Collaborating with Customer Success to ensure a smooth post-sales transition, including implementations, customer satisfaction, and account renewal.
• Offering support, insights, and communication to cultivate and maintain trusting and long-lasting relationships with customers during the waiting period for deployment.
• Taking advantage of opportunities and engaging in relevant industry/Halter events and demonstrations.
• Developing and utilizing industry connections to establish and uphold Halter's brand presence.
• Prioritizing customer needs and providing feedback to influence the product roadmap.
• Collaborating with the team to refine and enhance the sales process, making it faster, more efficient, and more predictable as the company grows.
• A comprehensive end-to-end sales skill set with a minimum of five years of experience.
• Proven success and examples of effectively sourcing new prospects, securing meetings with potential leads, and generating new sales opportunities.
• Highly experienced in value-based sales with a demonstrated history of closing deals and achieving high-volume sales results.
• Well-prepared with strong communication skills to effectively present Halter's value proposition.
• Experience in beef farming or the agricultural sector is highly desirable.
• A results-driven individual who is highly motivated with exceptional time management abilities.
• Adaptable in a high-pressure sales environment with the capability to think quickly on your feet.
• Sales experience in the technology sector is preferred.
• A university degree or equivalent is advantageous but not essential.
