This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop and execute comprehensive business plans and budgets for the Region while maintaining overall accountability for action plans.
• Analyze performance metrics in collaboration with the National Sales Director to ensure the sales team achieves optimal sales outcomes.
• Organize and lead meetings with the Sales Team; provide effective leadership by motivating and inspiring team members.
• Collaborate closely with leadership and Market Access to enhance reimbursement opportunities from both commercial and government payers.
• Design and oversee Regional plans that include messaging, reach and frequency, as well as budget objectives.
• Spend three (3) to four (4) days in the field working alongside assigned Territory Managers, completing Field Coaching Reports (FCR) promptly and with high quality (within 48-72 hours).
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, relevant experience in sales management within the pharmaceutical sector may be considered as a substitute.
• At least 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales is preferred; equivalent experience in medical sales may also be accepted.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales management experience in a U.S. pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical company is preferred.
• Over 2 years of experience in Cardiology (including Statin, PCSK9, and NOAC) launch experience is preferred.
• A proven history of success in launching new products and/or indications and building effective sales teams.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a talent for influencing individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
