πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Develop and implement territory sales strategies for aftermarket retrofits, rebuilds, modernizations, upgrades, and system enhancements.

β€’ Identify potential opportunities within installed equipment bases to enhance productivity, efficiency, reliability, safety, and product quality.

β€’ Foster relationships with existing customers and deepen engagement with key decision-makers.

β€’ Perform customer equipment assessments, conduct site visits, and carry out operational reviews.

β€’ Collaborate with engineering, service, product management, and project management teams to create tailored technical solutions.

β€’ Lead intricate sales cycles from opportunity identification to proposal development, negotiation, contract award, and project handoff.

β€’ Create and present business cases, ROI analyses, and value propositions.

β€’ Generate and sustain a pipeline of significant capital aftermarket opportunities.

β€’ Prepare forecasts, sales reports, and opportunity updates utilizing Salesforce CRM.

β€’ Assist in proposal development, scope definition, commercial reviews, and contract negotiations.

β€’ Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies.

β€’ Engage in trade shows, conferences, and customer events.

β€’ Achieve revenue, margin, and bookings objectives.

β€’ Comply with company policies while supporting management decisions and goals.

β€’ Represent Davis-Standard with integrity and professionalism.

β€’ Aid in quality management system integration, non-conformity reporting, and continuous improvement.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 7–10 years of experience in industrial equipment sales, aftermarket sales, capital project sales, or engineered solutions sales.

β€’ Proven history of developing and closing retrofit, rebuild, upgrade, modernization, or capital improvement projects.

β€’ Strong knowledge of industrial equipment retrofits, rebuilds, modernization programs, and aftermarket service offerings.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to sell complex technical solutions and capital equipment projects.

β€’ Experience in managing long-cycle sales opportunities and multi-stakeholder customer relationships.

β€’ Capability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project scopes.

β€’ Experience in developing ROI and payback analyses.

β€’ Excellent negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.

β€’ Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications.

β€’ Ability to collaborate across engineering, project management, manufacturing, and field service organizations.

β€’ Experience with extrusion, converting, plastics processing, manufacturing equipment, or related industrial machinery is preferred.

β€’ Willingness to travel 50%–75%.

β€’ Preferred geographic territory: Chicago for the Mid-West Region or Seattle for the West Region.
