This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Responsible for driving sales of Xtime products to franchise car dealerships.
• Creating and enhancing sales revenue while expanding the customer base within a designated territory.
• Providing innovative solutions to assist dealers in achieving their business goals.
• Sharing insights on Xtime products with internal stakeholders about key challenges faced by dealers.
• Emphasizing the value of existing Xtime and Cox Auto products and acting as the main point of contact for Xtime.
• Implementing the Cox Auto selling strategy to manage and effectively close complex sales opportunities.
• Utilizing insight and consultative selling techniques to offer clients feedback on industry trends, strategies, and challenges.
• Collaborating with client stakeholders to build consensus for Cox Automotive Retail Solutions products within their organizations.
• Strategizing independently and collaboratively to address deal-level challenges.
• Discussing, presenting, and demonstrating the key benefits of the Xtime solution to customers.
• Achieving or surpassing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue sales targets as set by the region and/or division.
• Filling open territories or existing territories as needed.
• Collaborating with the Regional Sales Manager to cultivate customer relationships with new and existing dealers.
• Establishing trusted relationships with decision-makers at the dealership, including Dealer Principals, Controllers, and General Managers.
• Frequent travel within designated sales territories and divisions (70% or more).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 6 years of experience in a related area.
• The ideal candidate may also possess alternative qualifications, such as a master’s degree and 4 years of experience; a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience; or 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Safe driving record required; a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• A degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred (e.g., finance, business, etc.).
• Over 5 years of experience in software, advertising, or automotive software sales, including familiarity with dealership software packages (CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, DealerSocket, etc.) and finance software (RouteOne and others).
• Strong understanding of the automotive industry, particularly automotive dealerships and the F&I process.
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, relationship-building, collaboration, sales, and territory management skills to effectively work with teams across the organization.
• Ability to analyze and interpret research and data to assist customers in identifying improvement opportunities.
• Proficient in database management and customer service, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Self-driven and disciplined with a vibrant, engaging personality.
• Willingness to travel up to 60 - 75% within the assigned territory (region).
