This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.
• Take a central role in boosting company bookings and expanding its presence in the Public Safety sector.
• Identify, cultivate, and finalize new business opportunities while managing customer renewals within your designated area.
• Execute sales through both direct selling methods and collaboration with third-party channel partners.
• Involves strategic key account management, business development initiatives, and teamwork across various functions.
• Demonstrate professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Spearhead the response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), developing strategic narratives that resonate with customer value propositions.
• Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and successful deal closures to consistently meet sales goals.
• Understanding of technical aspects within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience in selling 9-1-1 call handling solutions with a comprehensive grasp of the 9-1-1 and public safety landscape.
• Background in selling computer-aided dispatch, GIS, and cloud-based platforms or other related PSAP solutions.
• Familiarity with MEDDICC / MEDDPICCR or other comparable sales methodologies.
• Must reside in one of the following states: KY, TN, MS, AL, GA, SC, FL.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales to public safety agencies, or equivalent experience.
