• The Regional Sales Manager will be tasked with expanding, overseeing, and supporting designated Key Accounts within a specified region.
• Forge and sustain effective relationships with both existing accounts and potential customers.
• Deliver exceptional account management by creating, executing, and leveraging sales strategies aimed at growing Key Accounts in the assigned territory.
• Schedule and attend regular face-to-face meetings with accounts to provide tailored account management services.
• Achieve all monthly revenue targets by utilizing available sales tools and ensuring margin criteria are satisfied.
• Oversee customer inventory levels and suggest modifications based on current sales trends and market conditions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to bolster sales initiatives.
• Collect and disseminate market intelligence including trends, changing market dynamics, competitive activities, and customer strategies to the Sales Director and the Senior Leadership Team at Century.
• Actively seek new opportunities to promote, sell, and enhance the company's value.
• Travel to conventions, meetings, and trade shows as business needs arise.
• Communicate any issues raised by Key Accounts to the Sales Director and proactively contribute to generating solutions that maintain account loyalty and uphold Century’s reputation.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years of commercial sales experience, including 3 years focusing on large regional and national chain account sales within the shooting sports sector is preferred.
• Outstanding oral communication skills: capable of expressing ideas clearly and convincingly in challenging circumstances, both over the phone and in person.
• Strong writing abilities: proficient in crafting concise and effective emails and memos.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must possess the ability to comprehend and navigate various Government regulations.
• Knowledge of firearms is required.
• High-energy, creative problem solver with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
• Proven experience in operating effectively with a significant degree of autonomy.
