This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Achieve regional bookings that align with company goals through the growth and management of direct reports and key customer accounts in the Eastern region.
• Guide the regional team in fostering new customer relationships and enhancing existing ones.
• Enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and sales efficiency to broaden aftermarket opportunities and regional bookings.
• Assist the Regional Sales Director in formulating and implementing commercial strategies and tactics.
• Drive sales revenue to meet established targets while maintaining opportunity pipelines and booking forecasts.
• Cultivate regional account managers and field sales representatives to fulfill sales objectives.
• Establish annual goals and targets, promoting ongoing growth and development.
• Aid in value-added selling, contract negotiations, closing of sales, and the formulation of strategic long-term account plans.
• Identify new accounts to enhance ClydeUnion Pump's market presence.
• Meet bookings and earnings targets that align with Business Unit goals.
• Oversee the departmental expense budget.
• Provide insights on market demand, competitors, industry trends, safety, and business management.
• Relay customer modifications and product or technology requests to the product development and engineering teams.
• Stay informed about new products, services, and relevant customer information.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent technical and business management experience is required.
• An MBA is advantageous.
• Over 8 years of experience in outside sales within the pumps/rotating equipment sector and related aftermarket services.
• At least 3 years of management experience is necessary.
• A thorough understanding of ClydeUnion Pumps products and services, customer needs, and competitive markets is preferred.
• Familiarity with API, ISO specifications, as well as OSHA and EPA regulations is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, writing, and presentation skills.
• Capability to develop strategic account plans.
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to follow through on lead and account development.
• A proactive, innovative, and dynamic approach to discovering and maximizing opportunities.
• Proficient in PC applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, project management, and Internet access software.
• Competitive base salary ranging from 130k to 150k.
• Participation in a sales incentive plan.
