This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and cultivate relationships with retail clients and broker partners across the designated territory.
• Leverage relationships and market insights to discover and pursue new business opportunities.
• Establish and maintain robust connections within assigned accounts to influence decisions and foster long-term growth.
• Create annual business plans for customers aimed at maximizing opportunities and driving profitable expansion.
• Direct the planning, implementation, assessment, and presentation of customer-specific marketing campaigns and R&D projects.
• Enhance business within current accounts while also forging new customer relationships.
• Evaluate category, industry, and competitive trends to pinpoint opportunities and suggest proactive growth strategies.
• Manage significant projects, product launches, and retail rollouts from the planning stage through to execution.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, R&D, Operations, and leadership teams to aid customer initiatives.
• Recruit and oversee broker relationships as needed to achieve regional sales targets.
• Keep a thorough understanding of market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities.
• 5–10 years of experience in Retail Sales, ideally within the In-Store Bakery sector.
• Proficient knowledge of marketing, analytics, and/or research.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and cultivate new business opportunities.
• Experience in managing and enhancing relationships with retail clients and broker partners.
• Strong grasp of retail environments and customer relationship management.
• Capability to work independently from a home office while effectively collaborating with internal teams.
• A curious, adaptable, and open-minded approach to business and problem-solving.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
