• Accountable for engaging and mentoring advisors to enhance their businesses organically through client acquisition, net flows, and effective practice management strategies.
• Collaborate with one or more field leaders to achieve results across the entire geographical area or territory.
• Offer proactive support to all advisors within a specific territory or region, concentrating on growth topics.
• Fulfill a service level agreement that includes minimum contact with each coached advisor through various channels.
• Analyze data to identify reasons for outreach that drive sales performance and behavioral changes.
• Encourage advisors to accelerate growth or make necessary adjustments.
• Create cohorts of like-minded advisors concentrated on growth within a crucial area.
• Curate engaging content to stimulate discussions within the group.
• Implement the Four Disciplines of Execution through monthly calls that focus on commitments and both leading and lagging indicators.
• Foster conversations among peers and effectively influence changes in behavior.
• Involve advisors in growth coaching through business planning sessions, town halls, one-on-one meetings with leaders, or other approaches.
• Evaluate advisor needs and provide a customized, tailored growth plan.
• Collaborate to identify key leading and lagging indicators of growth.
• Develop a pathway emphasizing technical expertise, upskilling, and behavioral change components to promote growth.
• Create technical learning labs addressing key growth topics alongside growth labs that focus on utilizing the firm's technology to enhance their practice.
• Cultivate advisor champions and partner with them to deliver engaging content.
• Work alongside field leadership to ensure consistent messaging and deliver content both regionally and nationally, aimed at promoting growth and behavioral changes.
• Travel with Field Leaders and team members to both territory and national events.
• Utilize your expertise as a Subject Matter Expert to influence engagement in focus areas and present to groups of advisors, either virtually or during local leadership events.
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• Active Series 7 license or ability to obtain it within 90 days
• Active State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to acquire it within 90 days
• Active State IAR registration (S65 or S66) or ability to obtain it within 90 days
• Prior experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred
• Previous sales and marketing experience is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels
• Demonstrated capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple competing priorities
• Experience working collaboratively with a diverse range of partners
• Knowledge of financial planning principles and processes, as well as advisor practice management systems
• Ability to influence the behavior of advisors and field leaders
• Strong skills in communication, coaching, training, and general presentations
• Capability to coach advisors on the compliant use of financial planning tools within an advice-based practice
• Proficient in collaborating, developing, and maintaining relationships, as well as influencing field sales leaders and advisors to achieve results
