This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Identify and evaluate new potential customers within the designated territory.
• Develop a robust sales pipeline through daily business development efforts.
• Consistently meet and exceed performance targets.
• Pursue opportunities at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Secure deals with corporate clients, public sector undertakings, and central government agencies via in-person meetings.
• Establish strong executive relationships with enterprise clients and strategic partners.
• Oversee the business development process from lead generation through pricing, proposal creation, and closing.
• Engage in AlgoSec's web-based training and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Remain updated on customer business opportunities, current market conditions, future prospects, and competitive landscape.
• Provide AlgoSec management with updates on the status, prospects, and current needs of top enterprise and public sector clients.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Channel teams.
• Enhance and deepen strategic partner engagement throughout the territory.
• At least 10 years of proven sales experience in the IT/Cybersecurity sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in selling to enterprise, government, and public sector clients.
• A Challenger mindset and a proactive, disciplined, and resilient approach.
• Demonstrated, consistent track record of success as shown by meeting and surpassing both quarterly and annual quotas.
• Regular and disciplined use of Salesforce and recognized industry-standard sales methodologies.
• Proficient in computer skills, with strong written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• A well-established network of contacts.
• Background in Workflow Automation, Change Management, and Project Management systems.
• Experience in selling cloud security solutions.
• Strong connections with local channels and system integrators.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Italian.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience in selling complex cybersecurity solutions, SaaS, and platform-based products.
• Established relationships with strategic partners such as Cisco, Optiv, NTT, or Presidio.
