This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.
• Cultivate and enhance executive-level customer relationships to promote business growth, serving as a trusted advisor from the identification of opportunities to the final close.
• Create and oversee the regional sales plan for accounts/territories, encompassing pipeline and forecast evaluations, quarterly business assessments, and strategic account planning to ensure pipeline coverage and achieve year-over-year growth.
• Work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to establish, develop, and refine corporate positioning within the marketplace.
• Assess competition, market dynamics, and the customer base to develop a sales and marketing go-to-market approach.
• Collaborate with Product and Service Teams to ensure timely and scope-compliant execution while meeting customer satisfaction goals.
• Regularly conduct onsite and virtual meetings with customers and prospects to gather requirements and generate precise, timely quotations.
• Present product and service proposals/solutions to key decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations to secure competitive opportunities.
• Partner with fellow regional sales account team members, closely coordinating with technical sales/solutions engineering and supply chain delivery teams.
• Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting with a focus on best practices for forecast accuracy and tracking progress against target quotas.
• Utilize Salesforce (CRM) to oversee pipeline management, customer interactions, and forecasting.
• Over 10 years of progressive sales experience in the Telecom Industry, including leadership in commercial sales for Service Providers and Enterprises at the regional/territory level.
• Previous experience in selling both Fixed Wireline (FTTx/xPON access and subscriber products/solutions) and Wireless (fixed and mobile) products/solutions.
• Experience in the sale of DWDM transport products/solutions.
• Background in selling Management & Control cloud-based software platforms.
• Proven track record of managing a multi-state regional territory or multi-region sales coverage across the United States.
• Strong foundation in telecommunications, networking, SaaS, or similar technology sectors.
• Demonstrated capability to lead intricate commercial negotiations and finalize high-value opportunities.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the U.S. region.
