
Regional Safety Manager – Solar

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Accountable for providing support to the site EHS team.
• Managing and directing a team of Solar Site Managers.
• Overseeing the overall safety operations for Moss employees and subcontractors.
• Offering leadership and direction in matters of safety awareness, incident prevention, risk management, and case oversight.
• Acting as the main point of contact between the site EHS team, clients, and upper management.
• Performing site EHS audits on Moss safety program requirements at least once a month.
• Reviewing root cause analyses and incident reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Assisting in driving corrective actions to resolution when necessary.
• Aiding in the maintenance and execution of EHS programs and initiatives at designated sites.
• Exhibiting a strong ability to assess environmental health and safety risks and propose effective hazard mitigation strategies and solutions.
• An Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety is preferred.
• Seven years of experience or ten or more years in safety with a proven track record in EHS leadership positions.
• Must possess a working knowledge of relevant regulatory agencies and have extensive knowledge of OSHA standards applicable to the construction and power generation sectors.
• Proven capability in utilizing standard office software applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
• Possession of CHST/OHST, ASP, CSP, CUSP, CSHO certifications; other recognized safety certifications will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
• A valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
