Regional Safety Manager – Multi State

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with leadership to design and execute essential HSE programs and initiatives at the plant or facility level.

• Lead and ensure adherence to all relevant standards, policies, licensing and certification requirements, as well as regulatory initiatives on a regional basis.

• Offer guidance and direction to managers regarding HSE and environmental compliance matters.

• Conduct role-specific training at the local level while participating in and supporting the company's broader training initiatives.

• Promote leading indicator safety programs such as Near Miss to foster a proactive approach to the company's safety performance.

• Develop, implement, and drive risk mitigation strategies and processes informed by safety data and trends.

• Travel extensively to facility locations to assist field management in addressing identified compliance and business performance gaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of diverse experience in safety, environmental compliance, HR, and operations/administration within a manufacturing or distribution setting.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 75% of the workweek.

• Six Sigma/Lean certification and OSHA 40 training are preferred.

• Demonstrated success in building strong relationships both vertically and horizontally within an organization.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
