This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as a representative for Ameriprise Independent Advisors (AIA), Ameriprise Advisor Group (AAG), and Ameriprise Financial Institutions Group (AFIG).

• Travel across the designated territory to cultivate relationships with advisors from competing firms.

• Oversee the advisor recruiting pipeline by utilizing team resources and applying best practices.

• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of candidate records within the recruiting contact management system.

• Effectively communicate the status and results of advisor recruiting to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Address advisor inquiries and resolve issues as necessary.

• Articulate the Ameriprise value proposition through brokerage knowledge and expertise to potential advisors.

• Assess advisor practices to confirm asset portability and adherence to company hiring standards.

• Generate a consistent and high-volume influx of qualified candidates from various sources.

• Establish centers of influence to enhance advisor referral opportunities.

• Foster and maintain robust partnerships among corporate stakeholders, field leaders, and advisors to meet recruiting objectives.

• Set clear expectations with advisors and field leaders regarding the recruiting process.

• Extensive phone communication is crucial for success in this role.

• Exhibit and uphold a strong foundational knowledge of products, processes, and capabilities within the broker dealer.

• Stay informed about industry competitive intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years).

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in the field.

• Demonstrated understanding of products, processes, and capabilities associated with broker dealers.

• Experience in recruitment within the financial services sector.

• Proven track record of achieving results while managing multiple priorities efficiently.

• Ability to work independently is essential.

• Exceptional skills in relationship management, negotiation, collaboration, and influence.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to supporting and advancing diversity hiring initiatives.

• Candidate MUST reside within the designated territory.
