This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Accountable for steering the strategic scope (‘programs’) for the Global Customer Management (GCM) Team, emphasizing process and tools development, standardization, reporting, and compliance.
• Serve as a senior operational authority to ensure the global standardization of processes, tools, and systems, while promoting continuous improvement, innovation, best practice sharing, and aiding new business implementations.
• Spearhead and facilitate the global strategic planning process (‘roadmap’) along with related supporting projects.
• Monitor and ensure that strategic initiatives are effectively managed, delivered, and assessed to align with customer objectives.
• Enhance performance across all global sites within the account by conducting continuous audits, monitoring key metrics, and escalating any risks or issues that arise.
• Engage proactively with various business units and organizational levels to gather feedback, secure buy-in, and achieve alignment.
• Challenge existing assumptions and leverage project/program management expertise to keep leadership engaged.
• Oversee the formulation of a communication strategy and the execution of the strategic scope to advocate for the company's strategies and priorities.
• Assist in change management initiatives associated with the strategic scope that bolster customer strategy.
• Collaborate with operations to identify, design, and implement continuous improvement initiatives, along with measuring and reporting their impact.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in operational roles within the contract logistics industry, including P&L responsibility.
• Proven end-to-end experience in sales, strategy, consulting, and supply chain management.
• Adequate expertise in the account industry and a thorough understanding of local market conditions.
• Proficient in Business English, both written and verbal.
• Experienced in navigating within a global matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel frequently, approximately 25% of the time.
