This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee and direct product management initiatives for our suppliers and prominent polyolefin manufacturers in the DACH region.
• Partner with European Product Management to execute market and product strategies.
• Provide assistance to our sales teams in specific product and application domains.
• Act as the main point of contact for strategically significant customers in the region.
• Assist in recognizing growth opportunities and ensuring a robust commercial presence.
• Offer initial technical guidance to sales teams and customers regarding product selection, market insights, and applications.
• Share success stories and product advantages throughout the region.
• Take part in commercial planning and budgeting processes.
• Track the performance of assigned product groups and ensure targets are achieved.
• Supply market intelligence that could impact budgeting and sales efforts.
• Serve as the liaison between regional sales teams and suppliers.
• Convert product strategies into actionable regional plans.
• Coordinate regionally on pricing, product availability, and customer requirements that are feasible.
• Generate accurate sales (demand) forecasts to aid in supply-chain planning and ensure product availability.
• Contribute to demand planning and strategies for risk management.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and ensure objectives are aligned.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance knowledge and performance.
• A university degree or vocational qualification in business administration, engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial or technical product roles (hands-on technical activities).
• Capability to influence across functions and countries while meeting targets.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with strong data-analysis abilities.
• Proficient in managing complex and conflicting priorities—focused on results and responsive.
• Hands-on approach and a strong customer-service orientation.
• Fluent in both German and English.
• Experience in a matrix organization is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region and attend European meetings (up to 50%).
