Regional Product Manager – Polyolefine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development and management of the product management for our suppliers and leading manufacturers of polyolefins in the DACH region.

• Collaboration with European product management to implement market and product strategies.

• Support for our sales teams in designated product and application areas.

• Point of contact for strategically important customers in the region.

• Assistance in identifying growth opportunities and ensuring a robust commercial presence.

• Provision of initial technical advice for sales teams and customers regarding product selection, market, and application.

• Communication of success stories and product benefits within the region.

• Participation in commercial planning and budgeting.

• Monitoring the performance of assigned product groups and ensuring target achievement.

• Provision of market information that can influence budget planning and sales activities.

• Interface between regional sales teams and suppliers.

• Translation of product strategies into concrete regional action plans.

• Regional coordination of pricing, product availability, and customer requirements (where feasible).

• Creation of accurate sales forecasts to support supply chain planning and ensure product availability.

• Contribution to demand planning and risk management strategies.

• Promotion of cross-functional collaboration and ensuring alignment of common goals.

• Coaching and development of team members to enhance knowledge and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial or technical product roles (technical activities).

• Ability to influence and implement goals across functions and countries.

• Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and data analysis competence.

• Capability to manage complex and conflicting priorities, with a results-oriented and responsive approach.

• Hands-on mentality and absolute service orientation.

• Fluent in German and English.

• Experience in a matrix organization is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel within the DACH region and to European meetings (up to 50%).
