
Regional Product Manager – Engineering Plastics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop and maintain product-management relationships with our suppliers, who are leading manufacturers of high-quality engineering thermoplastics (ETPs) in the DACH region.
• Collaborate with European Product Management to execute market and product strategies.
• Support our sales teams in the specified product and application areas.
• Serve as the primary contact for strategically significant customers in the region, with Tier 1–Tier 2 experience being advantageous.
• Assist in identifying growth opportunities and ensuring a robust commercial presence.
• Provide first-line technical support to sales teams and customers regarding product selection, market issues, and applications.
• Communicate success stories and product advantages throughout the region.
• Contribute to commercial planning and budgeting efforts.
• Monitor the performance of assigned product groups to ensure targets are met.
• Supply market intelligence that may impact budgeting and sales activities.
• Act as the liaison between regional sales teams and suppliers.
• Translate product strategies into actionable regional plans.
• Coordinate regionally on pricing, product availability, and feasible customer requirements.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts to assist supply-chain planning and ensure product availability.
• Contribute to demand planning and risk management strategies.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment of objectives.
• Coach and develop team members to enhance knowledge and performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or technical product roles, including technical responsibilities.
• Ability to influence across functions and countries while driving the implementation of objectives.
• Strong, clear communication and problem-solving abilities, complemented by solid data analysis skills.
• Capability to manage complex and conflicting priorities; results-oriented and responsive.
• Hands-on mentality with a strong focus on service and customer orientation.
• Fluent in both German and English.
• Experience in a matrix organization is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region and attend European meetings (up to 50%).
