Posted Jul 28

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish new collaborations with schools, districts, and charter networks throughout your region by engaging with district administrators, G/T coordinators, principals, and teachers to disseminate Math Awards and draw in Stars Program applicants.

• Focus on regional offices and Education Service Centers as primary entry points for scalability, alongside fostering direct district relationships.

• Sustain and enhance existing partnerships to ensure a continuous flow of referrals each year.

• Manage the transition from district-level commitment to school-site implementation, guaranteeing that interested districts follow through with the actual distribution of Math Awards.

• Identify and prioritize high-return conferences and events in your region; represent NMS through presentations and exhibits.

• Cultivate sponsorship and broad-reaching partnerships to enhance awareness beyond individual outreach efforts.

• Execute targeted email and social media campaigns to generate interest and awareness in the program.

• Innovate and evaluate new strategies to engage families and communities that are most distant from opportunities.

• Take part in the evaluation, assessment, and selection of finalists and National Math Stars.

• Collaborate in refining admissions processes and criteria to more effectively connect with and select our target families.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in sales, account management, or partnerships within a K-12 oriented organization.

• Strong understanding of, and existing connections within, the K-12 education system in your region — ideally including relationships with G/T coordinators, teachers, or district administrators.

• High degree of autonomy and follow-through; adept at developing systems and relationships with minimal supervision in a remote-first environment.

• Excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing a high-volume partnership pipeline within strict deadlines.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport across a variety of audiences — from superintendents to first-year teachers to families.

• Genuine enthusiasm for our mission: to identify mathematically exceptional students who are furthest from opportunity and connect them to a decade of support.

• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and conferences.

• Bilingual in English/Spanish (both written and spoken) is a plus, but not mandatory. A $2,000 stipend is available for candidates who are fluent in both languages.

🏝️ Benefits

• $1,500 one-time home office stipend.

• 5% non-elective contribution to 401K.

• Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance coverage with a 99% employer contribution for employees.

• Generous paid time off from day one, including parental leave.
