This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +7 more states.
• Prospect & Engage: Identify and establish connections with HVAC contractors, dealers, and distributors throughout the Northeast who are strong candidates for partnership with Quilt.
• Pitch & Onboard: Facilitate discovery meetings, showcase the value proposition of the Quilt Partner Program, and assist prospective partners through the enrollment and onboarding process.
• Pipeline Management: Sustain a robust and well-qualified pipeline of partner prospects across New Jersey, New York, and New England.
• Industry Presence: Represent Quilt at regional HVAC trade shows, contractor association meetings, and industry events.
• Hit Targets: Achieve and surpass quarterly objectives for new partner enrollments within the designated territory.
• Relationship Management: Act as the primary relationship manager for all certified Quilt partners in the Northeast, fostering strong, trust-based relationships with owner-operators and their teams.
• Field Support: Regularly travel to partner locations for in-person check-ins, sales coaching, and ride-alongs with partner sales representatives and installation crews.
• Enablement & Training: Provide product and sales training to partner teams—focusing on both technical installation quality and customer-facing sales techniques.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor partner metrics (install volume, revenue, customer satisfaction) and create action plans to enhance underperforming partners.
• Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with Quilt’s marketing team to ensure partners are effectively utilizing co-op funds, lead programs, and marketing resources.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years in channel sales, territory sales, or business development; ideally within the HVAC, building products, or a similar trade industry.
• HVAC Fluency: Strong understanding of ductless heat pump systems, including knowledge of how mini-splits function, how they are sold, how they are installed, and what differentiates a quality installation from a subpar one.
• Network: An established network of HVAC contractors and dealers in the Northeast is a significant advantage.
• Mindset: A genuine hunter-farmer mentality—demonstrated ability to manage and develop existing accounts while simultaneously seeking and closing new partnerships.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
• Communication: A credible communicator capable of engaging with a diverse range of partner contacts, from working installers to shop owners to regional executives.
• Autonomy: Self-directed and focused on territory management. You take ownership of your pipeline, manage your own schedule, and hold yourself accountable for achieving results.
• Base Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 (dependent on experience)
