This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with national and regional Scientific Leaders to deliver company-approved medical and scientific information.

• Facilitate peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintain medical relationships with Scientific Leaders.

• Respond to scientific inquiries and redirect out-of-scope questions to the appropriate company resources.

• Stay updated on the scientific and clinical landscape within the therapeutic area.

• Engage in discussions regarding research strategies, study concepts, scientific validity, and investigator qualifications with potential investigators.

• Deepen understanding of investigator-sponsored research foundations and objectives.

• Identify obstacles to patient enrollment and retention.

• Suggest study sites and identify investigators for Phase II-IV clinical development programs.

• Conduct Site Initiation Visits and take on protocol lead responsibilities with Global Clinical Trial Operations.

• Address inquiries from investigators concerning company-sponsored clinical studies.

• Participate in scientific congresses and medical meetings to facilitate scientific and data exchange.

• Collect scientific insights and feedback from Scientific Leaders and/or patients.

• Act as a role model and contribute to a diverse and inclusive workforce.

• Serve as a liaison between the scientific community and the Company to support approved, in-development, and sponsored research studies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the Chicago territory, covering Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated territory.

• Required qualifications include a PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant therapeutic-area experience beyond the terminal degree, such as in COPD/Respiratory.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and networking abilities.

• Capability to engage in doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.

• Strong focus on scientific education and dialogue.

• Comprehensive understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other pertinent pharmaceutical industry ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations.

• Proficient in organizing, prioritizing, and working efficiently in a dynamic environment.

• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and OneNote.

• Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.

• Valid driving license is required.
