This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Act as the primary scientific representative of the organization to thought leaders and physicians within a specific therapy area.
• Identify, map, and profile thought leaders based on geography and therapeutic focus.
• Engage with key thought leaders through medical affairs initiatives that align with the strategic plan.
• Implement strategic medical affairs initiatives, including medical education, product training, medical evidence generation, advisory boards, pre-licensing activities, and special projects.
• Discuss scientific product data, patient treatment trends, and therapeutic-area research with leading specialists and stakeholders.
• Promote optimal patient outcomes by sharing data, information, knowledge, and insights with healthcare professionals.
• Represent the organization on both internal and external scientific platforms.
• Collect insights on disease trends and treatment patterns, communicating them to therapy leads and commercial teams.
• Conduct analyses of disease trends and contribute to the development of annual Medical Affairs Strategy Plans.
• Receive and manage scientific inquiries from physicians.
• Ensure that regional activities adhere to the organization’s COBE Policy and compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with thought leaders on reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, case series, patient-reported outcomes, and journal publications.
• Create training plans to communicate the latest medical advancements to sales and marketing teams.
• Formulate Medical Affairs strategic plans for therapeutic areas and products.
• Identify gaps in knowledge, practice, and data, and develop strategic medical action plans accordingly.
• Address complex healthcare professional inquiries regarding GGI products or disease areas.
• Ensure that promotional, physician, and patient education materials receive approval within required timelines and comply with promotional-material policies.
• Identify unmet needs through stakeholder interactions and contribute to new product ideation and differentiated product development.
• MBBS with a full-time postgraduate qualification of at least 2 years’ duration in any medical discipline, or MBBS with an MBA from a recognized institution.
• Recent postgraduate or up to 2 years of experience in field-based Medical Affairs.
• Strong academic background and in-depth knowledge of the therapeutic area.
• Research expertise and familiarity with research methodologies and medical data interpretation.
• Scientific acumen and communication skills to foster peer-to-peer relationships with leading specialists.
• Experience in complex business environments is preferred.
• Proven track record of success illustrated through annual performance evaluations and/or professional achievements and awards.
