This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Design and enhance national and regional marketing initiatives that align with the Annual Strategic Brand Plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at AbbVie to formulate and implement area marketing strategies.
• Oversee projects through the promotional review process, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and AbbVie’s procedures.
• Manage the strategy, execution, and budgeting for conventions, External Expert consulting, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer education programs.
• Assess marketing tactics and provide strategic recommendations for brand enhancement.
• Offer insights on brand business queries to guide marketing strategies, resource allocation, and tactic formulation.
• Partner with field leadership to enhance the execution of marketing strategies.
• Analyze market drivers, competitive landscapes, provider dynamics, and competitive intelligence within the designated geography.
• Coordinate deliverables among external vendors and internal departments.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with External Experts, emerging leaders, and patient and professional associations.
• Create regional External Expert engagement plans and ensure their tactical implementation.
• Connect AbbVie Integrated Brand Teams to explore collaboration opportunities while adhering to industry standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Prior experience in sales, sales management, or marketing.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Immunology is preferred.
• Previous experience in Gastroenterology is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience working with integrated, cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
• Capability to navigate both field-based and headquarters-based matrix organizations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the relevant regulations and standards that govern pharmaceutical products.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
• Capacity to sit continuously for extended periods (more than 2 consecutive hours during an 8-hour workday).
