This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee projects while ensuring compliance with the promotional review process and deliver exceptional work within the established timelines.
• Direct the strategy, execution, and budgeting for both national and regional conventions, External Expert consulting, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer education programs in a commercial context.
• Assess marketing tactics and provide strategic recommendations for optimizing brand performance.
• Offer insights into critical business inquiries to guide marketing strategies, resource allocation, and the development of tactics.
• Collaborate with field leadership to enhance the implementation of marketing strategies within the designated geography.
• Examine market drivers, the competitive landscape, provider dynamics, and competitive intelligence pertinent to the assigned region.
• Manage deliverables from external vendors and internal departments, including Agency Partners, Market Research, Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Ethics and Compliance, and IT.
• Identify, cultivate, and strengthen relationships with External Experts, emerging leaders, patient associations, and professional organizations.
• Create regional engagement plans for External Experts and ensure their consistent execution throughout the year.
• Connect AbbVie Integrated Brand Teams to collaborative opportunities that align with shared objectives and industry standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Immunology (preferred).
• Prior experience in sales, sales management, or marketing.
• Experience in Gastroenterology is preferred.
• Proficient verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills, applicable in both live and virtual settings.
• Experience collaborating with integrated, cross-functional teams.
• Capable of influencing without direct authority and driving results.
• Ability to navigate a matrix organization with both field and headquarters elements.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing pharmaceutical products.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
