This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop and enhance national and regional marketing strategies in alignment with Annual Strategic Brand Plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at AbbVie to ensure alignment in marketing strategy and execution.
• Oversee projects through the promotional review process while adhering to deadlines and regulatory standards.
• Manage strategies, execution, and budgets for conventions, External Expert consulting, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer education programs.
• Assess marketing tactics and propose opportunities for brand optimization.
• Provide insights on business inquiries to guide marketing strategy, resource optimization, and tactic development.
• Partner with field leadership to enhance the implementation of marketing strategies.
• Analyze market drivers, the competitive landscape, provider dynamics, and competitive intelligence.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments, including Agency Partners, Market Research, Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Ethics and Compliance, and IT.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with External Experts, emerging leaders, patient associations, and professional associations.
• Create regional External Expert engagement plans and ensure tactical implementation.
• Connect AbbVie Integrated Brand Teams with collaboration opportunities based on shared objectives and industry standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Immunology is preferred.
• Prior experience in sales, sales management, or marketing is required.
• Previous experience in Gastroenterology is preferred.
• Proficient in verbal and non-verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
• Experience working collaboratively with integrated, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence others without direct authority.
• Capability to navigate field- and headquarters-based matrix organizations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards impacting pharmaceutical products.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must meet safe driving requirements.
