This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at AbbVie to design and implement area marketing strategies.
• Create and enhance national and regional marketing initiatives that align with the Annual Strategic Brand Plans.
• Act as the representative for AbbVie Marketing with External Experts to gather insights within designated geographies.
• Oversee projects through the promotional review process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and regulatory standards.
• Manage the strategy, execution, and budgeting for conventions, External Expert consultations, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer education programs.
• Assess marketing tactics and suggest opportunities for brand optimization.
• Provide insights on business inquiries to guide marketing strategy, resource allocation, and tactic development.
• Collaborate with field leadership to enhance the execution of marketing strategies.
• Analyze market drivers, competitive landscapes, provider dynamics, and competitive intelligence.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments, including agency partners, market research, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, ethics and compliance, and IT.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with External Experts, emerging leaders, and patient and professional organizations.
• Develop regional engagement plans and ensure consistent implementation throughout the year.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Immunology is preferred.
• Prior experience in sales, sales management, or marketing.
• Previous experience in Gastroenterology is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in collaborating with integrated, cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
• Ability to navigate matrix organizations both in the field and at headquarters.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of regulations and standards impacting pharmaceutical products.
• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 75% of the time, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
