This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Create and enhance national and regional marketing strategies that align with the Annual Strategic Brand Plans.
• Oversee projects through the promotional review process while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and AbbVie procedures.
• Manage the strategy, execution, and budgeting for conventions, External Expert consultations, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer education programs.
• Assess marketing tactics and provide strategic recommendations for brand enhancement.
• Offer insights on brand business inquiries to guide marketing strategy, resource optimization, and tactic development.
• Collaborate with field leadership to improve the execution of marketing strategies in the designated region.
• Comprehend market drivers, the competitive landscape, provider dynamics, and competitive intelligence.
• Coordinate deliverables with external vendors and internal departments.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with External Experts, emerging leaders, and patient and professional associations.
• Design regional External Expert engagement plans and ensure effective tactical execution.
• Facilitate collaboration opportunities among Integrated Brand Teams based on shared objectives and industry standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Prior experience in sales, sales management, or marketing.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Immunology is preferred.
• Previous experience in Gastroenterology is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working within collaborative, integrated, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and achieve results.
• Proficiency in navigating both field- and headquarters-based matrix organizations.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of regulations and standards impacting pharmaceutical products.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including evenings and weekends.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
