This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design and implement weekly, monthly, and yearly marketing strategies to attract qualified traffic, working closely with local teams and leveraging available resources and staffing.
• Partner with local managers to build and maintain essential relationships with university officials, business partners, residents, and other key stakeholders to create marketing opportunities.
• Oversee third-party marketing and leasing tools/resources, regularly reviewing and updating marketing messages and offers to enhance lead generation.
• Keep comprehensive market source lists within Entrata, monitoring which sources yield the highest traffic.
• Establish, execute, and track leasing goals and renewal programs to achieve occupancy objectives; inspire leasing teams with innovative goal boards, contests, and rewards in collaboration with management.
• Spearhead training initiatives aimed at improving sales processes, including curb appeal, tour path optimization, sales techniques, follow-up strategies, and effective utilization of leasing tools.
• Assist Managers in fostering positive reputations and strong ties with schools and local communities.
• Work closely with Leasing Managers, Regional Marketing Specialists, General Managers, and Regional Directors to ensure seamless coordination of marketing and leasing efforts.
• Support projects and initiatives as assigned by supervisors.
• Bachelor's degree; or 3-5 years of experience in student housing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of onsite management experience preferred, particularly in roles as General Manager or Assistant General Manager in student housing.
• Outstanding communication skills, with a preference for strong public speaking abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: innovative, proactive, and open to challenging the status quo to fulfill the needs of residents and the company.
• Willingness and ability to travel 90-95% of the time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and property management software (Entrata).
• Familiarity with market rate and LIHTC programs, as well as Fair Housing and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations.
