This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Accountable for overseeing and directing a sales team consisting of 10-25 representatives while enhancing market share, volume, and dealer loyalty.
• Mentoring, guiding, and developing Area Managers.
• Responsible for managing personnel engaged in outside sales within the designated region.
• Additionally, will support the recruitment and training of new area managers.
• Present and promote the company's products and services to existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to pinpoint specific targets and estimate the number of contacts to be made.
• Identify sales prospects and reach out to these and other assigned accounts.
• Create and maintain sales materials along with up-to-date product knowledge.
• Establish and nurture relationships with current and potential clients.
• Oversee Area Managers through quality checks and various follow-up activities.
• Identify and address client concerns.
• Compile a range of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to objectives.
• Relay new product and service opportunities, special developments, insights, or feedback gathered through field activities to relevant company personnel.
• Formulate and execute special sales initiatives aimed at reducing dealer attrition.
• Engage in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing activities.
• Travel is necessary throughout the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for visits to Auto Dealers.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales management.
• High energy level with outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and various sales software applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a closely related discipline.
• Qualified candidates must reside in the region.
• Strong computer skills are essential, particularly in MS Office (Excel and Word).
