This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive sales growth and operational excellence within a designated geographic area valued at approximately $100M.
• Supervise a sales team located in San Francisco and Sacramento.
• Manage all field sales operations and collaborate closely with field operations teams.
• Increase sales, broaden market share, identify new business opportunities, and establish key vendor agreements.
• Mentor and coach sales and operations personnel, including Field Sales Consultants and other regional staff.
• Execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives that align with corporate goals.
• Oversee margin management, expenses, revenue growth, profitability, and resource distribution.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, vendors, stakeholders, and major accounts.
• Manage regional P&L and develop strategies to enhance gross profit.
• Lead recruitment, training, onboarding, and team development in collaboration with the corporate training department.
• Act as a liaison between corporate leadership and regional teams.
• Implement national and regional marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations teams on supply chain processes and contract compliance.
• Engage in corporate projects, regional and national conventions, customer events, and company meetings.
• Travel up to 50% to support regional teams, attend meetings, and interact with clients and stakeholders.
• Generally, 10 or more years of progressively responsible and complex professional experience.
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and enhance profitability.
• Proven capability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including the ability to present to board-level executives and clients.
• Proficient in strategic planning, project management, and operational efficiency.
• Understanding of healthcare and dental industry practices, including NDSOs, CHCs, and private practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, pricing models, and supply chain management.
• Outstanding management, leadership, communication, presentation, public speaking, decision-making, analysis, problem-solving, planning, organizational, negotiation, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Capacity to lead and develop virtual teams.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and act on financial information that impacts profitability.
• Proficient in planning and managing complex projects, including timelines, budgets, resources, and responsibilities.
• Effective communication skills with senior management and key stakeholders.
• Typically a Bachelor's Degree or its global equivalent in a related field is preferred; a Master's degree or its global equivalent is an advantage.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 50% within the assigned geographic area.
