Regional Field Services Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with hospital personnel to initiate medical device reprocessing programs and oversee Go Live Days.

• Perform site evaluations, develop action-item timelines, and deliver staff training prior to the launch.

• Establish collection routes and schedules, and enhance Collection Technician assignments by analyzing distance, drive-time, labor hours, and workload.

• Assess the duration required for Collection Technicians to execute device collection tasks.

• Communicate staffing requirements to leadership and Human Resources for recruitment purposes.

• Instruct hospital staff on the reprocessing program and prepare field teams to engage and educate them.

• Resolve issues related to the collection system and implement solutions to ensure process continuity.

• Partner with sales teams to boost device collections, identify opportunities, formulate closing strategies, and focus sales and educational efforts on high-revenue devices.

• Compile and track weekly status reports from Collection Technicians.

• Recognize process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

• Conduct regular post-launch business evaluations to sustain hospital commitment.

• Guide Collection Technicians through hospital credentialing compliance and coordinate access badges with hospital Security.

• Supervise daily operations of employee groups.

• Interpret and implement departmental and project policies while recommending or executing policy modifications.

• Recruit staff, suggest pay raises, conduct performance evaluations, train and develop personnel, estimate staffing needs, assign tasks, and ensure policy adherence.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical or sales environment.

• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or operating room context.

• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a clean driving record are required.

• Ability to travel using personal vehicle to designated facilities within driving distance.

• Credentialing/hospital certification is required to gain access to assigned facilities.

• Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Proven customer service experience with both internal and external clients, meeting service quality standards.

• Experience in assessing customer satisfaction.

• Ability to prioritize tasks based on time, importance, or other relevant criteria.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time for business purposes, both in-state and out-of-state.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related medical field.

• Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from an accredited certifying body.

• Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of experience with medical devices and/or device reprocessing.

• Preferred: Experience managing at least 2 employees, including hiring, training, motivating, and directing staff.

• Position necessitates credentialing/hospital certification for access to assigned facilities.
