This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Full responsibility for Profit and Loss (P&L) in the designated region.
• Meet and surpass budgetary goals, revenue targets, and market share objectives.
• Analyze monthly financial reports and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Oversee cash flow projections and resource distribution across all legal entities.
• Launch synergy and cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining service and quality standards.
• Develop budget proposals and performance dashboards for executive management.
• Supervise and ensure operational efficiency across all funeral homes within the region.
• Hold regular review meetings with local operators and team leaders.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Implement technological solutions to streamline workflows.
• Encourage the sharing of best practices between locations.
• Engage in business development: focusing on organic growth and mergers & acquisitions.
• Oversee the integration process post-acquisition (including personnel, real estate, and processes).
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a customer-oriented, multi-site organization—preferably in a sensitive sector (funeral services, healthcare, long-term care, hospitality, retail).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple locations and projects simultaneously.
• Strong commercial insight: responsible for P&L, budget oversight, and financial analysis.
• Experience collaborating with local authorities, social institutions, and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a relevant field preferred; a commercial apprenticeship with pertinent experience is also acceptable.
• Proficient in German; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Skilled user of Microsoft 365, Google Suite, and cloud-based solutions.
