This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +2 more states.
• Oversee the sales operations in the region to achieve annual growth and revenue goals.
• Establish sales objectives and forecast projections.
• Identify, recruit, retain, and nurture talent through proactive performance management.
• Create strategies for onboarding new accounts and enhancing engagement within existing accounts.
• Foster effective communication with executives and managers throughout the organization.
• Navigate complex sales negotiations, particularly with larger potential clients.
• Collaborate with departments including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs.
• Work alongside Marketing and Professional Education to devise value-added strategies, tools, programs, and services.
• Manage the sales and clinical teams within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the Region Clinical Manager to guide and oversee clinical consultant team members.
• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• More than 5 years of high-performance experience in the MedTech industry, with a strong preference for cardiovascular expertise.
• A minimum of 7 years managing a field commercial team, or over 3 years of successful leadership in the Abiomed Associate Region Director position.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• An MBA is preferred.
• A background with diverse functional roles, such as sales training and field enablement, is preferred.
• A proven history of success in managing a growing sales organization.
• Capability to gain the cooperation of others and lead team members effectively.
• Proficiency in negotiating and influencing senior-level leaders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving results.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Capacity to perform duties and responsibilities in compliance with all state and federal regulations governing the medical device industry.
