This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Oversee the sales initiatives for the region to achieve annual growth and revenue goals.
• Establish sales objectives and projections.
• Identify, recruit, retain, and nurture talent through proactive performance management.
• Create strategies for launching new accounts and enhancing penetration in existing accounts.
• Foster effective communication with executives and managers throughout the organization.
• Lead challenging sales negotiations, particularly with larger prospects.
• Collaborate with departments including Operations, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs.
• Work alongside Marketing and Professional Education to design value-added strategies, tools, programs, and services.
• Manage sales and clinical teams within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the Region Clinical Manager to oversee the clinical consultant team.
• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• Over 5 years of high-performance experience in the MedTech industry, preferably in cardiovascular.
• More than 7 years of management experience leading a field commercial team, or at least 3 years of successful leadership in the Abiomed Associate Region Director role.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• An MBA is preferred.
• A desirable background includes diverse functional roles, such as sales training and field enablement.
• Demonstrated success in managing a growing sales organization.
• Capability to foster cooperation and lead team members effectively.
• Proficient in negotiating with and influencing senior-level leaders and KOLs.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation metrics.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Must conduct duties in alignment with state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry.
