This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provides leadership in sales and operational management within a specified geographic area.
• Achieves or surpasses quotas for products and services while consistently exceeding member expectations.
• Directs the development, planning, and implementation of the regional sales strategy for designated OCLC products and services.
• Takes accountability for precise forecasting, pipeline management, and meeting quotas.
• Constructs and leads a high-performing sales team focused on growth, retention, product adoption, and member satisfaction.
• Establishes strategic direction, prioritizes regional initiatives, and ensures disciplined execution through coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Engages directly with key and high-value accounts to enhance relationships and uncover long-term growth opportunities.
• Facilitates coordinated go-to-market execution and overall regional performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales leadership (manager, director, or equivalent), preferably within library services, academic technology, or publicly funded sectors.
• Proven history of successfully leading field sales teams with a track record of achieving sales growth targets.
• Strong experience in executive-level selling and negotiating with complex stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze market dynamics, competitive positioning, and customer needs to shape strategy.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, analytical thinking, and disciplined execution in a performance-driven setting.
• Proven knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and emerging technologies.
• Excellent ability to balance enterprise-level thinking with operational rigor and accountability.
• Experience working efficiently in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, sales analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial leader with a strong sense of ownership and results-oriented mindset.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (60–80%).
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
