Regional Controller – Travel Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the end-of-month closing processes.

• Supervise accounting operations for multiple hotel properties.

• Train, manage, and develop accountants within the portfolio.

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements.

• Conduct bank reconciliations.

• Review invoices and execute check runs.

• Oversee cash management activities.

• Prepare state and local tax returns, including sales tax, hotel occupancy tax, and telecommunications tax.

• Utilize the M3 accounting system for recording and reconciling accounting records.

• Address various owner and property requests as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Proficiency in M3 Accounting is highly preferred.

• Experience in preparing financial statements.

• Background in managing multiple properties.

• Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions effectively.

• Capability to manage financials both effectively and efficiently.

• Proficient in multitasking.

• Ability to work autonomously.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

• Proven ability to quickly process new information and adapt to change.

• Strong analytical skills with experience in addressing "real-life" business challenges.

• Robust project management capabilities, with the ability to independently oversee multiple projects.

• Demonstrated ability to utilize spreadsheets for managing large data sets and translating them into meaningful analyses.

• Familiarity with M3 accounting software.

• Working knowledge of various PMS systems.

• Proficiency in NetSuite and Profitsword.

• Requires sustained mental and visual concentration while sitting in front of a computer for over 90% of the time.
