This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Review initial, interim, and annual recertification documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy of file reviews while meeting the daily volume standards set by the company.
• Deliver written assessments of files that offer clear guidance to site personnel for making necessary corrections, enabling timely approvals.
• Verify that all information is correct and properly entered into the Property Management Software.
• Adhere to company policies concerning the respectful handling of applicants' and residents' personal/private information, maintaining records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Confirm that files meet the requirements of all funding and regulatory agencies, including HUD and IRS.
• Execute special assignments as needed.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-3 years of pertinent experience in property management.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in compliance and file reviews.
• At least 3-5 years of experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit and Project Based Section 8 programs.
• Possession of a current vehicle license in good standing, meeting the driving record criteria specified in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• Willingness to travel 25% within the assigned region.
• Proficiency in computer systems, with a focus on Microsoft applications.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong customer service skills.
