This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Achieve or surpass the company's direct sales revenue goals.
• Formulate a regional sales strategy to meet direct sales revenue targets.
• Cultivate senior-level relationships within key accounts.
• Effectively build, train, and lead a sales team to achieve and exceed volume and revenue targets.
• Provide ongoing marketplace insights to aid in the development of a sales strategy aimed at achieving revenue and volume goals.
• Regularly update management and staff on industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights.
• Establish and nurture strong cross-functional internal relationships to enable efficient processes for product development, pipeline management, compensation planning, sales reporting, and revenue forecasting.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication with the Area Vice President of Oncology Sales regarding all pertinent regional information related to revenue and advertiser relationships.
• Evaluate business opportunities and create strategic sales plans for the designated territory.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Provide counsel to the Senior Management Team on pertinent client or market issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products, services, technology solutions, and reimbursement/billing matters.
• Maintain all assigned company assets, including laptop computers, PDAs, etc.
• Submit all required paperwork, including travel itineraries, trip reports, activity reports, monthly reports, expenses, and service reports, accurately and promptly.
• Exhibit "Core" level knowledge of oncology, technology solutions, and competitive strategies through the utilization of company resources, on-the-job training, in-house literature, marketing materials, and sales brochures.
• Meet all targets and goals established by management.
• Provide support for meetings and trade shows as needed.
• Assist physicians with the complexities of ordering and interpreting the CMI platform, as well as ensuring the quality and accuracy of QC reports, which may necessitate access to detailed protected health information (PHI).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of prior leadership experience is preferred along with an understanding of the oncology, pathology, and/or diagnostic markets.
• A strong understanding of the client relationship with physicians, their needs, and how we can deliver service and technology solutions for their oncology requirements.
• Proven track record with large, global brand marketers and agencies.
• A passionate and engaging demeanor when collaborating with internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions to solve problems while working under pressure and effectively communicating these solutions to colleagues and customers.
• General knowledge of healthcare-related business policies and practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet usage for business purposes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a complex, matrixed team environment; experience in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines.
• Proven skills in problem management, process analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, capable of managing up, down, and across various organizational levels.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance that meets Caris's requirements.
• Willingness to travel regularly, locally or for day trips, to meet clients and prospects in person. This position requires spending 50% of your time in the field meeting with clients and prospects.
