This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in both strategic and tactical planning for the Petcare division.
• Oversee planning, execution, and performance for a region comprising approximately 100 personnel with annual sales exceeding $100 million.
• Achieve overall and key product/service sales targets through effective demand generation.
• Introduce new diagnostics and service offerings.
• Guide Account Business Managers (ABMs) in the Solution Selling framework and the pipeline management process.
• Collaborate with regional colleagues to accomplish yearly objectives.
• Conduct in-car rides, field days, educational events, meetings, business reviews, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
• Spearhead initiatives that enhance the capabilities of the regional team.
• Align and execute opportunities within the region for the Diagnostic Technical Services team and Veterinary Operations.
• Direct the development and implementation of objectives and strategies for Key Accounts, Corporate Accounts, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL).
• Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources.
• Initiate pilots and introduce new field sales teams.
• Manage and oversee the regional operating expense budget.
• Foster regional colleague development and engagement.
• Conduct individual monthly calls and/or a minimum of four live meetings annually with each ABM.
• Cultivate leadership and coaching skills among ABMs.
• Communicate performance metrics regarding regional sales, capabilities, and initiatives.
• Offer coaching, developmental opportunities, and regional projects to enhance performance and prepare colleagues for advancement.
• Proven success in prior roles involving talent management, initiative execution, and driving sales performance.
• Experience as a change agent and commitment to continuous learning.
• Capability to function effectively in cross-functional, team-oriented environments.
• Proficiency in influencing internal and external stakeholders and managing relationships across all organizational levels.
• Ability to operate in dynamic, complex, and evolving environments.
• Skill in translating insights and analytics into strategic execution and measuring results.
• Strong project and process management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Financial analysis capabilities, including budget and expense management.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Capacity to exercise sound judgment and make considered and equitable decisions.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office and Outlook, with the ability to learn Zoetis systems such as Tableau and Salesforce.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience, encompassing sales management and/or marketing or veterinary operations.
• Experience in capital equipment sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with Zoetis headquarters is preferred.
• Background in animal health and knowledge of companion animal veterinary medicine is preferred.
• An undergraduate degree (BS/BA) is preferred.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Willingness to travel significantly, with at least 50% travel and some weekend work/travel required.
• Must possess or secure authorization to work in the US.
