This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Recruit, cultivate, motivate, and elevate a high-performing team of Oncology Account Managers to achieve and surpass sales targets.

• Foster a winning culture that is anchored in accountability, urgency, clinical credibility, and delivering customer value.

• Ensure the team engages in deep, credible, and clinically impactful discussions with gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, APPs, pharmacists, and practice leaders.

• Provide real-time, on-the-ground coaching that enhances selling skills, refines strategy, and improves execution.

• Own the regional commercial strategy and its implementation across major academic centers, NCI-designated cancer centers, and community oncology practices.

• Oversee the management of key accounts, including the creation of comprehensive account plans, ensuring high levels of expertise, collaboration, and customer service.

• Establish and maintain strong personal relationships with KOLs, key customers, and clinical influencers.

• Analyze performance trends, competitive dynamics, and access realities to make bold, data-driven decisions that enhance outcomes.

• Develop and present regional business reviews and performance updates to commercial leadership.

• Promote smooth communication and collaboration with Field Medical Affairs, Strategic Accounts, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Training.

• Lead and facilitate team meetings that advance commercial strategy and field excellence.

• Manage the regional budget with a disciplined focus on ROI and resource impact.

• Collaborate with the VP of Sales on incentive compensation plans, sales contests, Veeva CRM strategy, and field sales initiatives.

• Exemplify the highest standards of compliance, ethical selling, and professionalism in every interaction.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree required, with prior experience in pharmaceutical oncology sales management; experience in gynecologic cancers is preferred.

• 8+ years of pharmaceutical sales and sales leadership experience, with a strong track record of talent development and consistently exceeding goals in a sales management capacity.

• Experience in specialty sales with a solid understanding of oral oncology, limited distribution models, managed care processes, and navigating academic medical centers, hospital systems, and community oncology practices.

• Strong commercial instincts and strategic agility, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, competitive shifts, and the demands of a launch environment.

• Willingness and ability to travel 60–75% of the time.
