This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Achieve or surpass the company's direct sales revenue goals.
• Create a regional sales strategy to fulfill direct sales revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior-level contacts in key accounts.
• Effectively recruit, train, and lead a sales team to meet and exceed volume and revenue goals.
• Offer ongoing marketplace insights to inform the development of a sales strategy that meets revenue and volume targets.
• Regularly update management and staff on industry trends, best practices, and competitive analysis.
• Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships internally to enhance processes for product development, pipeline management, compensation planning, sales reporting, and revenue forecasting.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with the Area Vice President of Oncology Sales regarding all pertinent regional data related to revenue and client relationships.
• Assess business opportunities and formulate strategic sales plans for the assigned territory.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Advise the Senior Management Team on significant client or market issues.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive products, services, technology solutions, and reimbursement/billing matters.
• Safeguard all assigned company assets, including laptop computers, PDAs, etc.
• Complete all required paperwork, including travel itineraries, trip reports, activity reports, monthly reports, expenses, and service reports, accurately and promptly.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of oncology, technology solutions, and competitive strategies through the use of company resources, on-the-job training, internal literature, marketing materials, and sales brochures.
• Achieve all assigned targets and objectives set by management.
• Provide support for meetings and trade shows as needed.
• Assist physicians with the complexities of ordering and interpreting the CMI platform, and ensure the quality and accuracy of QC reports, which may involve accessing detailed protected health information (PHI).
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Over 5 years of prior leadership experience preferred, with a background in oncology, pathology, and/or the diagnostic market.
• High level of understanding of the client relationship with physicians, their needs, and how we can deliver service and technology solutions for their oncology requirements.
• Proven track record with large, global brand marketers and agencies.
• Enthusiastic and engaging approach to collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions in solving problems while under pressure, effectively communicating these solutions to colleagues and clients.
• General knowledge of healthcare business policies and practices.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and internet usage for business purposes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to function in a complex, matrixed team environment and experience in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.
• Proficient in managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, scheduling, and meeting deadlines.
• Proven skills in problem management, process analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to manage relationships at all organizational levels.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance that meets company requirements.
• Willingness to travel regularly, locally or for day trips, to meet clients and prospects face-to-face.
• This position requires spending 50% of your time in the field meeting with clients and prospects.
