This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a team of Territory Sales Managers across multiple states to meet sales goals and foster growth in their territories.
• Recruit, mentor, and enhance the skills of Territory Sales Managers through comprehensive onboarding, regular field visits, one-on-one discussions, training sessions, and continuous performance assessments.
• Create and present regular coaching reports from the field to document insights, increase transparency regarding field operations, and reinforce alignment with Sales Leadership.
• Collaborate with the VP of Sales, Director of Government Services, and area 1099 contractors to ensure local execution aligns with national sales strategies and revenue objectives for the VA/DoD.
• Convert overarching sales strategies into specific, actionable plans tailored for each Territory Sales Manager.
• Analyze market trends, forecasts, and key performance indicators to proactively uncover opportunities and identify performance shortfalls.
• Provide ongoing updates to sales leadership regarding performance metrics, pipeline status, market conditions, and accuracy of forecasts.
• Act as a critical voice from the field to the larger team; work closely with Marketing, Patient Services, Manufacturing, and the Executive team to share insights and feedback that drive strategic decision-making.
• Establish and nurture senior-level relationships with providers, stakeholders, and decision-makers within each territory.
• Assist with budgeting and resource allocation at the area level, including headcount requirements and distribution of sales support resources.
• Engage in industry meetings and trade shows to represent AppliedVR and RelieVRx.
• Ensure all sales operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and relevant laws.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in selling pain pharmaceuticals and/or medical devices within the United States.
• At least 4 years of experience in sales management, leading direct sales representatives across a multi-state region.
• Proven experience in selling disruptive technologies and/or facilitating the commercial introduction of a new product or company.
• In-depth knowledge of the pain management sector, including a strong grasp of relevant healthcare laws, codes, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to convert strategy into actionable execution that consistently meets or surpasses financial and qualitative targets.
• Experience with the VA/DoD is preferred but not a requirement; veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
• An independent, entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to excel in a dynamic, startup environment and prioritize tasks with minimal oversight.
• A valid US Driver’s License and the ability to commute or utilize various modes of transportation for in-person field activities.
• Willingness to travel 60-75% of the time, including overnight stays and attendance at conferences.
