This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee and expand a network of distribution partners.
• Meet and surpass the projected income and growth targets for your broker network.
• Cultivate strategic, multi-tiered relationships with all designated distribution partners.
• Comprehend the business goals and strategies of your accounts to align our offerings and drive profitable growth.
• Ensure that both you and your accounts possess a comprehensive understanding of the Underwriting strategy and appetite.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of underwriting strategies, appetites, and market dynamics.
• Contribute to broker strategies and propose solutions that facilitate partner growth.
• Develop and sustain a pipeline of opportunities for sustained growth.
• Assist compliance, governance, and management teams as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results.
• Utilize data and management information (MI) to monitor and report on financial performance.
• Understand, challenge, and contribute to the execution of broker strategies and plans.
• Introduce and advocate for solutions as needed to support these initiatives.
• Stay informed about and devise strategies to adapt to changing market conditions, including emerging risks.
• Always prioritize the interests of Customers, Distributors, and Underwriting colleagues.
• Represent the company at industry events, spearhead external engagement, and share insights that shape our strategic direction.
• Demonstrated experience in broker relationship/account management within the general insurance sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
• Analytical mindset capable of interpreting data and providing informed recommendations.
• Commercially astute, with a history of achieving financial results.
• Highly driven, organized, and capable of working autonomously.
• Proficient in managing sales pipelines (experience with Salesforce is advantageous).
• Strategic thinker focused on execution and outcomes.
